Expert Disability Housing Advisory Panel
In 2022, the Queensland Government worked with the Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) to bring together diverse groups to co-design priorities and actions for a disability housing action plan for Queensland.
This became Partnering for inclusive housing with Queenslanders with disability 2024–2027.
A key theme of this plan is that people with lived experience of disability must have a central role in the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of issues that impact their homes and lives.
To ensure this, an expert panel is being formed as part of the plan. This panel will be chaired and led by people with lived experience of disability, including First Nations peoples with disability.
Expressions of interest (EOIs) to join the panel closed on 6 September 2024.
We are now assessing applications and conducting interviews. We will announce the panel members when the selection process is complete.
About the panel
