Doing packaging differently
From Pakko’s establishment in 2017, founder Nina Nguyen wanted to create a blueprint for a manufacturing renaissance in Australia.
In doing so, the focus was on how to best deliver for businesses across Queensland by tailoring packaging to increase efficiency, value and branding opportunities.
In 2021, Pakko shifted the focus to the COVID-19 pandemic, manufacturing approximately 500,000 testing kit boxes for the Queensland Government.
As the pandemic eased, Nina became an active participant in the local community, joining the Rare Birds organisation as an Ambassador for Queensland with the aim of encouraging and inspiring other young women to reach for their dreams.
She also participated in her first Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising over $9,000 to help the local homeless community.
“The team at Pakko are determined to educate, collaborate and establish enduring relationships with the local community,” says Nina Nguyen.
“We encourage local businesses and suppliers with an eye to cultivating a globally-inspired workplace.”
